And this righteousness will bring peace. Yes, it will bring quietness and confidence forever.
My people will live in safety, quietly at home.
They will be at rest.
Reflection – As Pastors and leaders, we’re pouring out our lives for others. And that’s such a joy and privilege. Yet, I wonder how things are at your home. Where do you need the Holy Spirit to break through in your family, in your marriage with your close friend?
Sometimes our families can get the left overs from our energy when our lives are depleted.
What steps will you take today to prepare the way for Jesus in your home?
When we neglect our family, children may feel forgotten and overlooked. They may begin to squabble more or begin to lose their way.
Your spouse may feel misunderstood and you may feel isolated with a sense of separation growing.
Closing Prayer – Thank you Jesus that you love my family and friends. I pray for a breakthrough in that situation we’ve been facing. Draw us close together again as we draw near to you. Restore our relationships in love. Begin with me Lord, that my heart may be humbled before you and renewed in love with my spouse, children and friends. I love you Jesus. Thank you for loving me.
