Footprints in the sand

Intro:
Can you picture the Heavenly Father embracing you in His love today? It’s one of my favourite images the Lord often reminds me of.

Opening Prayer:
Worshipping you loving Heavenly Father is like a warm embrace. It’s like a clear morning song when the first bird sings an awakening song for the day and other birds join in the chorus.
Worshipping you is part of who I am and changes my view of my world, Jesus.
Thank you Holy Spirit that you’re living in me. Come, speak to me today, Holy Spirit.

“O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.”

Reflection –
Isn’t God amazing?! Doesn’t everything change when drawing near to him and worshipping and praising Him.

When we honour and praise God’s name, we are reflecting upon his character. Upon who he is. Like this…
Jehovah Jireh – God, the provider. You are my provider
Jehovah Raphah – The God who heals. God, you are my healer.
El Shaddai – God Almighty. You are all powerful, a mighty, loving God.

I’m sure you could reflect upon many, many more. Maybe pursue this again sometime.

He is my God. And he is your God. He does such wonderful things doesn’t he?
Stopping to thank & praise God for all he has done is something so refreshing and renewing isn’t it.

Where do you need Him to breakthrough right now too? How do you need Him to carry you?
Sometimes it’s like a mountain top experience with Jesus, sometimes a valley. Most often simply day by day we walk with Him.

We know as we walk with God, we’re fulfilling his will which he planned long ago. Partnering with Jesus, walking in step with him, led by His Spirit is so wonderful.

May you deeply experience this again today.

Prayer –
Drawing near to you Jesus and walking with you changes everything. I’m reminded today Jesus of the “Footprints in the sand” where you walk alongside me throughout my journey of life, Jesus.

And when I need it most, how wonderful to experience you carrying me Jesus. Thank you loving Saviour, mighty God, precious Lord.
