Your Kingdom Come
Draw near to God today asking Him where you need an inbreaking of the Kingdom of God in your world.
Opening Prayer:
God, we draw near to you inviting you to speak to us once again today. We’re inviting you Holy Spirit to speak into our hearts, speak into my heart. Help me Lord today to hear your voice showing me where I need an inbreaking of your kingdom in my world, Jesus. Rule and reign in my world, Lord, in our world.
Amen
Bible Verse:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
Your’s is the Kingdom, the power and glory.
Forever and ever. Amen”
(Matthew 6:9-13 NIV/ NLT)
Reflection:
As you were praying just now, God began to speak to you places and spaces where His kingdom needs to break into your world. It may be how you are living, how you are treating your family or your church. Or where you need breakthrough with a relationship or financial need. Or where you have been passionately serving for a long time and been unable to see the breakthrough. Today, can be the beginning of a breakthrough for His kingdom to come, changing everything.
Specifically and prayerfully consider in your life and ministry where you need His kingdom to come, right now.
Yet, it is so much more isn’t it? We need to see His kingdom come in our world. And we are bringers of His kingdom through how we live, what we do and what we say. That His kingdom would come in the life of a child in poverty where you have capacity to bring change. In the life of a neighbour who is lonely where you can bring company. In a friend that is discouraged where you can bring hope. In a community where you can bring peace.
Prayer:
God Almighty, I pray that your Kingdom will come in each and every situation you bring to mind for each person who reads and prays these words. Let your Kingdom come, Lord. And if you so choose, use me.
